With the development of technology and accessories, the role of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) has evolved from diagnostics to therapeutics. These include EUS-guided drainage of
pancreatic fluid collections, EUS-guided necrosectomy, EUS-guided biliary and pancreatic duct drainage, EUS-guided gallbladder drainage, EUS-guided pancreatic cyst ablation, EUS-guided delivery of antitumoral agents. We perform clinical trials to prove the efficacy of these emerging techniques.
