Description of the research topic:

The effective treatment of cerebral ischemia is restricted by the undesired side effects of the drugs used. The goal of the project is to design a novel strategy of drug administration relying on nanoparticles that are emerging carriers of drug delivery, which release drugs targeted to the site of injury in response to specific signals.
