Description of the research topic:

The study of the quality of life in children, adolescents and young adults can be based on objective and subjective measurements and more that one informant can be asked. The comparison of healthy and ill populations gives information on the negative effect of a given illness on the quality of life. Mental problems cause the most severe loss in quality of life among the illnesses. By comparing different populations and using more than one informator, quality of life and its moderating factors can be investigated.
