Description of the research topic:

Energy consumption is comes mainly from public buildings. Energy assessment and energy audits of public buildings are well known, but mostly based on default values and usual experiential data. Energy consumption influence by operational and comfort parameters, knowledge of which clarifies the calculations, reveals new relationships and overall contributes to the reduction in the energy consumption of public buildings.
The purpose of the research is to analyse and modelling the energy consumption of public buildings, and then to integrate them into building energy simulation and BIM. Currently the building information modelling does not include the building energy simulation. Developing the relationships between them could be a very useful result.
The PhD research will also investigate the relationship between comfort in the public buildings and the energy consumption of the building. We still have some relations, but building energy simulation can describe more precise relationship structure.
The result of the research will be recognize new contexts and calculation methods that can help reduction of the energy consumption of public buildings.
