Description of the research topic:

The economic improvement of the rural areas is one of the most important aims of the public policies in the whole European Union. The Member States can decide to choose different tools in order to develop the rural areas. The rural development as an overall public policy can create ideal combination of different tools aimed to serve the needs of the rural areas of the continent. Hungary as a Member State of the European Union have to pay attention for its rural areas because the regions located in the East and South part of the country are included on the less developed regions of the European Union.
The aim of the research is to find the ideal tools and solutions in order to serve the development needs of the rural areas in Hungary.
