Description of the research topic:
The aim of our study is to investigate the interaction of various addictive drugs (e.g. alcohol, nicotine, morphine) and neuropeptides (e.g. obestatin, ghrelin, leptin), since this interaction may have important consequences regarding drug addiction (e.g. increase of reward sensation, development of somatic or affective symptoms of withdrawal).
