The work needs to focus on their methodology, approach to religion and have to be comparative not only in regard to the question how this new science located itself among other human and social sciences emerging at that time but also how ideas, phenomena and material aspect of religious culture were studied by the early scholars. The research may address the issue of the contested area of Theology and the emerging new discipline Science of Religion through selected persons. Besides, it is also vital to study what kind of social and ecclesiastical visions of these scholars had for the newly surfacing increasingly democratic society during Dualism.
