Description of the research topic:
Recently, interesting baryon-baryon anticorrelations and angular correlations have been observed in proton-proton collisions, among the final state hadrons. This may all shed light on some features of the hadronization process, and help us understand the strong interaction better. The candidate would analyze data from the Compact Muon Solenoid collaboration to reproduce and verify and further study these effects.
