A Viktoriánus és a posztmodern fantasztikum közti párhuzamok vizsgálata. Intermediális kulturális reprezentációk és képzelet a 19-21. században A mágikus realizmus, a nonszensz mesefantázia, a gyermek- és ifjúsági (YA) irodalom műfajai. Mesekutatás és meseterápia. A fantázia és a fantasztikum metafikcionális és inter/meta-mediális aspektusai. A monstruozitás fikcionális reprezentációi és kultúrtörténete (freak shows).
