Description of the research topic:

This project studies how social insurance programs such as unemployment insurance, social security, or disability insurance influence individual labor market outcomes by setting special incentives. The research tests predictions from theoretical models using large scale administrative data and research desings based on quasi-experimental variation. Results from this research can inform policy decisions about design and reforms or social insurance systems.
