Description of the research topic:

Investigation of discrete and continuous time, discrete and continuous state space branching processes. Statistical inference: estimation of parameters with different methods, description of the asymptotic behavior of the estimators. Multitype populations. Approximation by diffusion processes. Studying subcritical, critical and supercritical models. Applications of branching processes.
