Description of the research topic:

The descriptions of the structures of surjective linear isometries of different function algebras
and operator algebras belong to the classical problems of functional analysis. They are motivated
by Banach-Stone theorem and its far reaching generalization due to Kadison. The aim of the doctoral work
is to study and describe the isometries of non-linear metric spaces or even more general spaces
consisting mainly of functions or linear operators which appear in different areas of
mathematics and its applications.
