Description of the research topic:

The aim of this research is the investigation of secondary metabolites of Hungarian bryophytes. Extracts of the analyzed species will be tested for antiproliferative and antimicrobial effect. Species with perspective activities will be analyzed in detail, chromatographic analyses will be carried out to isolate biologically actice constituents. Structure elucidation and pharmacological testing of these compunds is also part of the research.
