Description of the research topic:

Smooth muscle electromyography can be applied for the non-invasive investigation of the functions the gastrointestinal and pregnant uterine smooth muscles. In the research program the animal models of different gastrointestinal and obstetrical disorders will be investigated by the alterations of myoelectric signals in the disorders and during the treatments. This research promotes the clinical application of this method.
