Description of the research topic:

Examination of interaction between inorganic, organic pollutants and microbiological organisms is of primary importance in preservation of natural water and soil quality, in development eco-friendly technological processes usable for environment treatment. This kind of research work requires the knowledge of environmental analysis, bioanalysis, surface chemical methods, microbiology, physico-chemistry and colloidchemistry. The study can expanded in systems containing soil or soil components, in which the physico-chemical and microbiological processes are combined for pollutant removal.
