Description of the research topic:

The full-time PhD candidate, to complement his/her education, is expected to work on collecting and analyzing plant-level data on global trends in supply chain management. This project offers an unrivalled opportunity to join an established global network of scholars, to get to know the paradigms of SCM, to gain valuable experience in analyzing and interpreting data, to master both quantitative (e.g., statistical data analysis) and qualitative research (e.g., case writing) methodologies, and, most importantly, to publish research results in leading journals.

Preference will be given to applicants with solid statistical skills. Knowledge of simulation methodologies is a plus. Written and oral communication skills in Hungarian are assumed but non-Hungarians, assuming other conditions are met, will also be accommodated.
