Resume
The stress caused by crises affects all areas of financial culture and demonstrably reduces the feeling of financial security. Individuals react differently to the crisis: by expanding their knowledge, with increased caution, but also often with uncertainty and haste. They may also be more inclined to take out loans in order to deal with their financial difficulties. Therefore, having the right knowledge is crucial for everyone. Higher education can contribute significantly to this. Within the framework of the research topic, it may be possible to survey students in higher education, high school students or adults. The effect of the crisis on the individual's stress level and through this even on the financial decisions made can be examined. The price rise, inflation, and energy crisis currently associated with the Russian-Ukrainian conflict can be used well to model economic crisis situations. By asking the participants about the period before and after the beginning of the conflict, it is also possible to quantitatively assess the impact of crises. The investigation can be focused on a single area (e.g. income, sense of financial security and vulnerability), but it is also possible to present a larger, multidimensional picture of the situation as a chosen topic. The factors (e.g. knowledge, attitude) that can provide protection in stressful situations can also be assessed. A possible proposal for handling and solving the situation can be of special value to the thesis, either for the teaching of economic knowledge, or for human resource management in adulthood, or in areas related to financial regulation
