A kutatási téma leírása:

The inter- and trans-disciplinary approach of ecological economics may significantly contribute to the analysis of local economic processes by considering their embeddedness into the social and environmental context. This serves as an impetus for critical reflection on the objectives of local development and on the process through which visions are formed, problems are perceived and solutions are implemented (the process aspect of local development).
The topic focuses on the planning, implementation and evaluation of local (economic) development / urban development that actually contributes to the furthering of sustainability, well-being or social justice. During the PhD research process, this broad topic can be narrowed down: it may focus on the methodological implications (what kind of research methods and what sort of researcher roles are required by the ecological economics approach); or it may focus on certain substantial topics, e.g. urban sustainability, social justice or well-being.

Keywords: urban sustainability transition, degrowth, citizen participation, collaborative planning, sustainable local economic development, accessible city
