A kutatási téma leírása:
"Sustainable Finance, ESG investments, biodiversity finance, funding nature-based solutions. Primary approach of research introduces empirical studies on the role of ESG metrics on investment performance, resilience of portfolios, diversification effects. We work with proprietary databases from major ESG data providers, and we seek to further expand this outreach. There is also another theoretical research direction that seeks to specify investor sustainaiblity preference and utility, and how this shapes the efficient frontier of investments.
In the coming years, an abudnace of new non-financial data will be reported by companies that helps us better understand their exposure to sutainability risks and drivers of sustainble activity financing, thus opening the horizon for an abudance of new empirical research possibilites. We also focus on funding possibilities of nature-based solutions as means of achieving impact. Biodiveristy finance is a new emerging discipline that follows a multidisciplinary approach, exploring new ways to finance the gap for biodiversity preservation and restoration."
