Early stages of otosclerosis should treated by stapedectomy, stapedotomy, or partial stapedectomy. Surgical techniques are much more different. Our study is also retrospective and prospective. Our study is a Nation-wide collaboration. We invstigate the QOL score of patients according to the recommendations of the American Otological Society. I.e. tinnitus inventory score, hearing results, ballance, etc. This study may help to choose the most appropriate treatment of otosclerosis: surgery, or hearing device. Results will be compared with the preoperative radiological findings (HRCT/CBCT). Our study has been started, we have the permission of the institunial ethical board.
