A kutatási téma leírása:
The ongoing longitudinal study aims at examining the relation of various meditative methods to personality traits and life events, inquiring about the emotional and characterological background of the meditative practitioner’s choice of method, and the lasting effects of regular meditative practice to personality. Accordingly we include in our study practitioners of the major Buddhist schools (Vipassana, Zen, Tantrayana) and non-Buddhist (e.g. mindfulness) meditators. We develop our data base by measuring our participants each year by the same research battery: questionnaires and projective tests.
