In Latin America, the problem of minorities, be they different ethnic or religious groups, immigrant communities, women or children, has been present for centuries. The protection of these groups on international levels started in the 20th century, the topic covers the challenges of the international protection of minorities in Latin America in the 20th and 21st centuries, the means of protection, the steps taken, and the analysis of the results achieved.
