A kutatási téma leírása:
It is now well known that institutions matter as they influence the behavior of economic actors when they interact with each other. Without knowledge of the rules of the game (“The rule of the game”), effective decisions cannot be imagined. Institutional economics, for example, helps a business leader decide what he or she gets from the market and what processes he or she holds within his or her business. Institutional economics also helps to decide what decision-making structure to create in our organization or how to organize a public service. Economic policy issues, be they taxation or economic development policy, cannot be thought of without meaningful study of the institutions. As a result, whether someone is working as a senior executive in a company or in the public sector, for example, it is absolute essential to understand how institutions affect actors in society and thus the economic and political system.
