A kutatási téma leírása:
The research envisages to address open issues related to black hole thermodynamics. While this field is solidly established, open problems include the i) discussion of the thermodynamics of black holes with hair in generalised gravity theories, ii) thermodynamic bounds on gravitational waves in generalised gravitational theories, iii) relation of singularities of thermodynamic metrics and phase transitions, iv) physics related to the information paradox, and v) quantum aspects of black hole horizons. The PhD student is expected to carry on research in the above subjects.
előírt nyelvtudás: angol további elvárások: Requirements: preliminary expertise in general relativity, thermodynamics, and quantum physics, proficient English, analytic programming skills.
