A kutatási téma leírása:

A: The use of the microwave technique in the synthesis of P-derivatives
The purpose is to try the direct esterification of different P-acids and S-acids under MW conditions. Other esterifications like using the T3P® reagent, or alkylating esterifications are also to be studied. The Hirao P–C coupling is a special means of P-functionalization hiding much interests. Additional refunctionalizations like hydrolysis and transesterifications means also a challenge. The stress is on environmentally friendly accomplishments, like using MWs, IL-s and flow chemical realization.
B: Synthesis and use of alfa-hydroxyphosphonates, alfa-aminophosphonates, as well as modification of phosphonic derivatives
-Hydroxyphosphonates are important intermediates in different reactions like acylations, Friedel–Crafts reactions and additions, etc. Their optical resolution means a challenge. The optically active forms may be good starting materials for other derivatives.
alfa-Aminophosphonates are also widely used scaffolds. We aim at the synthesis of new derivatives including beta- and gamma-aminophosphonates and their acylated or phosphorylated derivatives. The omega-aminophosphonates may be involved in the Kabachnik–Fields reaction. A series of ketophosphonates will be converted to the corresponding symmetrical and asymmetrical hydroxy-methylenebisphosphonates. Acylation of the related active methylene-containing derivatives is also of interest.
The above hydroxy- and aminophosphonic derivatives will be utilized in addition reactions.
Stepwise and tandem accomplishment of consecutive reactions (alcoholysis, hydrolysis and hydrogenation following Pudovik-, Kabachnik-Fields-, Hirao- and Arbuzov reactions are also to be studied.
