A kutatási téma leírása:
A big amount of Hungarian hydrocarbon is found in Miocene limestones. The quantity and quality of knowledge we have about these rocks is far below that of the Mesozoic rocks. As sedimentology and diagenesis have profound influence on their storage capacity, extending this knowledge could significantly increase the chances of finding and exploring hydrocarbons in Miocene carbonates.
