In security policy, there is not given enough attention to the migration related public health aspects, however the issue had been repeatedly emphasized by international organizations, and most importantly by the World Health Organization (WHO), too. Unfortunately, in respect of health-security policy, until now no sufficient steps have been taken towards harmonization within the EU, including the legal preconditions as well.
On the one hand, in elaborating the topic, it is necessary to collect data that enables to make correlational inferences between migration and health/ public health hazards. On the other hand, the legislation of the (right base) access to the healthcare system has fundamental importance, and overregulation can restrain the access to the appropriate medical care that may create not only individual but public health hazard as well.
Although one must recognize the importance of international treaties concerning the special sensitivity of health data, including the legal aspects as well, these information are crucial for the researchability of the possible society level hazards. And so the transferability of the healthcare data are important from the aspect of maintaining the health conditions as well as in case of health assistance need of the individual.
In the research, legal and anonym statistical and healthcare information have to be gathered to gain relevant data. Furthermore, the experiences and interviews with medical and social workers are important to verify the empirical aspect of the hypothesis.
