A kutatási téma leírása:
The research focuses on a subregional scale territory that was subjected to detailed geological mapping activities and the records are available to process them into a geodatabase. Completed with own field observations such data is used to create models of the tectonic stresses based on existing methodology. These models of the area together with morphometric methods can be analyzed in ways to i) assess the present state of stability of the area, ii) predict future surface evolutionary scenarios, iii) reconstruct the pathways which led to the present state of the surface.
