A kutatási téma leírása:
The interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) is a qualitative psychological research method that is used to assess experiences of a particular phenomenon from the perspective of the individual. The subject of the research is how participants make sense of their major life experiences wich are of particular significance to them. Also, IPA is able to explore the impact of these experiences on one’s identity. That is why IPA is often used in clinical and health psychology, many IPA studies examined the experience of cronic disease, addiction, therapy and recovery. It has become used in many different research areas in psychology ever since the first IPA study was published in 1998. In psychological research studies that benefits from deep analysis of interviews from homogenous sample and detailed examination of experiences and identity IPA is recommended.
