Justification of the research topic:

According to international statistics, the number of disasters is undoubtedly increasing; it, in turn, demonstrably raises the number of interventions and measures on their elimination. Obviously, the responsible authorities and their leaders are facing a challenge and they are forced to review the tactical possibilities and set of special equipments applied so far, preferably improve them or introduce new ones instead of the old.
Objectives:
Discovering and understanding the basic patterns that describe disasters and their course; based on them, determining the tactical possibilities and set of special equipment needed to eliminate disasters.
Analysing the currently used intervention methods, revealing the basic patterns, defects, barriers and opportunities.
Analysing the use of technical equipment needed for the elimination of disasters, revealing opportunities and barriers as well as creating innovative technical equipment.
Research methods
Analysing disasters and their elimination in printed and electronic literature, written materials, visual and moving images as well as other descriptions, studies and own findings.
Conducting measures, experiments, analyses followed by mathematical and statistical data processing
Reviewing, analysing and adapting international findings
Creating and testing models
Creating works of technical nature
