The economic improvement is one of the most important aims of the regional development conception and its tools are the enhancement of the competitiveness, the increase of the employment rate and the creation of new jobs. The aim of the research is to describe those region specific possibilities which are able to create the basement of the economic developments with the increase of the social development. The crucial part of the research activity is the compilation of the prior experiences and problems in development of the diverse developed areas with different possibilities and the management of the local development.
