A kutatási téma leírása:

The project is meant to shed light on some herbal plants suitable for the development of feed and food with hypoglycemic and anti-inflammatory properties. The selected herbal plants chemomapping will be carried out, and their bioactive compound profile determined. Drosophila melanogaster based nutritional genetic-genomic and molecular cell biology approaches will be applied in order to assess the biological effects of the selected herbal plant extracts by monitoring the critical weight checkpoint, intracellular redox potential and metabolic profile regulation.
