Syllabus Teaching information literacy is closely related to getting to know the traditional and non-traditional information sources in school libraries, the use of computerized tools (e.g. online catalogues, distributed catalogues, subject field specific online databases, etc.) of reference work, and the learning processes taking place in searches. Issues concerning the role, the importance and the use of all these tools will be in the focus of research from the aspect of library pedagogy. Studying technical literature we will provide an overview of good practices which are used for efficient learning of information literacy, and what kind of new competences pupils will have by acquiring this knowledge. Methodological experiences obtained during information literacy classes will be investigated in the form of case studies.
