Description of the research topic:
A téma elsősorban két alkérdésre összpontosít: i) hogyan változik a nyelvek szerkezeti eltéréseinek függvényében a kognitív erőforrások pl. a munkamemória használata, ii) milyen összefüggés van a kognitív kategorizáció fejlődése és azt adott nyelvben érvényes szemantikai kategorizációk (pl. élőség) megléte között.
Research focuses on two main questions: i) how does the exploitation of cognitive resources like working memory capacity depend on structural differences between languages, and ii) what is the relationship between the development of cognitive categorization and the linguistic semantic categories of a particular language.
