Description of the research topic:

 Examining how the declining fertility rate promotes economic growth over a prolonged period (see the Asian
tigers as examples and the first demographic dividend).
 Investigating the economic implications of a fertility rate below replacement level for more than 40 years,
particularly the additional burden it places on the economy (see aging Japan).
 Exploring strategies for economies to mitigate the loss of efficiency stemming from an aging workforce. (See
examples such as the United Kingdom, check the second demographic dividend)
