Description of the research topic:
With the emergence and spread of the internet, services that people had never thought of
before are now just a few clicks away. The internet has a strong influence on our everyday
lives and can help and accelerate the process of digitalisation. Managers make decisions with
the information they need. However, with the obvious benefits of digital world, new risks have emerged. The data and information become more and more important at international
and domestic level also means that organizations need to focus on the assessment of operational efficiency and the use of metrics (e.g. e-commerce, food supply chains, agribusiness, etc.).
