Description of the research topic:
In our current era the economy – as a relevant substructure of society – has a great role in transforming society as a whole, the substructure tends to reshape and orient the whole social system. Concerning philosophy, the question arises: what is the role of economy from a metaphysical, ontological and anthropological aspect? What does value creation mean, and how does it relate to what is truly good? How does this value correspond to the whole society, to its structure and the structure of being? In our research – based on the social philosophy of Semyon L. Frank – we primarily focus on these questions by using critical reasoning and reflexion, moreover, taking all relevant branches of philosophy into consideration.
