Description of the research topic:

Precision plant cultivation uses and intends to use many technologies in the future that draw conclusions about the physiological processes of plants. Knowledge of these plant physiological processes, especially the processes that influence the efficiency of photosynthesis, which is outstanding in terms of the growth of dry matter, is essential for improvements. The efficiency of plant light utilization is a determinant of the plant's condition, and its evaluation from the point of view of eco- and stress physiology is the basis of applied plant cultivation knowledge.
The aim of the research is to examine those parameters characterizing plant condition under controlled and field conditions, which among given environmental factors are the most relevant for its description. By setting up provocation experiments, we examine the system of morphological, physiological and biochemical indicators in different abiotic (or biotic) environments, revealing correlations with reference to the given genotype and/or plant taxonomic group.
