Location of studies (in Hungarian): ELTE Faculty of Informatics, Institute of Cartography and Geoinformatics
Abbreviation of location of studies: ELTE

Description of the research topic:

The objective of this research is to develop a GIS-based modeling framework utilizing Artifical Neural Networks (ANN) to dynamically simulate how the spatial extent and intensity of impacts from highly variable natural and human-driven phenomena unfold across landscapes over time. The framework would integrate key spatial factors as inputs to ANNs trained on historical event data in order to generate future predictions of spatial impact patterns under varying scenarios.
