Description of the research topic:
The research topic embraces some aspects of the dramaturgy and Hungarian reception of contemporary playwrights working on the British Isles, in the light of productions and theatre criticism. Playwrights to select from include representatives of the “In-yer-face” theatre rampant in the 1990s such as Sarah Kane, Mark Ravenhill and/or Martin McDonagh, or authors of the “New Realism” such as Nina Raine, Conor McPherson and/or Patrick Marber.
