Description of the research topic:

Global climate change and scarcity of resources are the most urgent challenges of the 21st century. Sustainability is becoming a central guiding principle of our society and is increasingly appearing as a priority among company leaders, and they are under increasing pressure to follow green practices in order to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. Balanced consideration of social, economic and environmental aspects is prioritized over the traditional profit-oriented way of thinking. Incorporating the management of environmental impacts into the operating model of businesses is becoming critical. The doctoral topic examines the effects of green leadership on the organization and its environment.
