Description of the research topic:

Sustainability in business is increasingly becoming the forefront issue for researchers’ practitioners and companies the word over. Engaging with this immense challenge, future earth in a major international research platform from a range of disciplines with the common goal to support and achieve goal sustainability.

Innovation stands out as a key factor in the urgent and challenging pursuit of improving economic, social, and environmental sustainability. A transition to a new business paradigm, where a broader set of values than the mere financial ones are fully take into account, requires disruptive changes to the way we think and act.

Innovation can be broadly described as a process of turning opportunity into new ideas and putting these widely used practice. It is vital for organizational survival, long term growth and organizational competitive advantage.

Innovation for sustainability provides thoughtful, comprehensive and research-grounded overview of how companies can gain competitive advantage by simultaneously integrating economic social and environmental innovations for the good of all, including the analyzes of the main concepts, business models, measurements and leadership for sustainability transitions.

The aim of research is to provide a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and challenges related to innovation for sustainability combining work for both emerging and established scholars in different academic field. All students are encouraged to research this topic (management, marketing, business models or any other economic field) interested in a serious consideration of the challenges involved in innovating for sustainability and most promising tools and approaches.
