Description of the research topic:

The course submits the development of institutions of family law (Marriage, Marital Property Law. Cognatus. Patria Potestas. Status of Legitime and Illegitime Children etc.) in the European countries with comparative character. It deals with the questions of authority in marital legislation and law enforcement concerning the relationship between state and church. Finally, it reviews the social effect of the secular marriage law in the European legal culture and the legal institutions for the protection of marriage bond.
