Description of the research topic:

Externalities are common in food production similarly to other sectors of the economy, and the general practice of food production today is one of the main causes of global unsustainability. The main goal of agricultural policy is to provide food for the population of the world in a sustainable way. In developing countries, this is an even more serious challenge as the population is growing steadily. There are several ways to ensure a safe and sustainable food supply that can be applied to varying degrees to adapt to changing circumstances. Transforming the food system is one of the most important tasks of humanity, where the right amount of safe food production and the protection of the environment must be achieved at the same time. One of the focus areas of the circular economy is the maintenance of biological cycles, for which the flow of matter must be kept in motion. The full recycling of organic matter is a fundamental goal of the circular economy, so it can continuously re-supply food production.
