Description of the research topic:

In this work, PhD students will characterise the microtubule (MT) system and the microtubule organising centre (MTOC) in the larval nephrocyte of Drosophila melanogaster. They will investigate the consequences of genetic manipulation of the MT/MTOC system on the cell endomembrane system, with particular emphasis on membrane recycling and the endolysosomal system.
