Studies on tourism have examined the circular economy from different perspectives and have presented different examples that are interlinked and contribute significantly to sustainable development. While the literature emphasises the enormous potential of the circular economy in the tourism sector, there is a noticeable lack of understanding of the evolving trends in circular economy research. Formulating possible research directions:
Applying alternative solutions.
Exploring smart solutions.
Exploring alternative solutions.
Using innovative interventions.
Suggestions to decision makers.
