Description of the research topic:

Pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins are important components of plant resistance responses. The newly identified PRLIP genes encode proteins belonging to alpha / beta hydrolases with a type 3 lipase domain with unknown physiological function. The aim of the research is to investigate the enzymatic activity of Arabidopsis PRLIP proteins on in vitro substrates and to identify a possible in vivo substrate.
