Description of the research topic:

In recent years, human resources have played an essential role in the resource system of business organizations, as the efficiency of other resources is largely dependent on the human factor that drives companies forward and enhances their efficiency. The research topic is interdisciplinary in nature, including economic, sociological, psychological, marketing, PR, pedagogical, management theory and andragogical aspects in addition to human resource management.

Currently, competence has emerged as a key concept for the personnel as it helps to answer the question of what factors are needed for companies to have excellent, above average, competent employees (and thus effective organizations).

Companies use competencies to integrate, among other things, selection, training, performance appraisal, and remuneration (incentives) within human resource management. Competence lives in symbiosis with organizational culture, corporate performance and individual performance; it also helps to pinpoint the job by providing a more comprehensive view of specific tasks.

Human psychological aspects, motivation, performance, encouragement, money and work are also economically important, and continuous learning, training, adult education, further training, personality development and lifelong learning play a significant role in maintaining the competitiveness of the company and thus in the paradigm of economics.

In examining the topic, we seek, among other things, how competencies help and support corporate competitiveness and the role that competencies play in the selection of candidates.
