Description of the research topic:
The study of the effect of different tillage and agrotechnical processes on the circulation of carbon dioxide in the soil and the change in the organic carbon stock can be considered absolutely relevant, however, in order to explore and clarify the relationships at a deeper level, more and more frequently measured data are needed. All measured data of this kind provide quantitative and qualitative information regarding the environmental load from individual production sites and the microbiological activity and soil fertility associated with the current soil condition. The aim of the research work is to explore the relationships that characterize the highly variable process of CO2 circulation between the soil and the atmosphere in space and time:
• evaluation of the environmental load from individual production sites and the microbiological activity associated with the current soil condition,
• to obtain data on the effect of different land use methods and tillage procedures on the organic carbon stock of cultivated soils.
