Description of the research topic:

Despite the difficulties caused by covid - tourism is an effective tool for socio-economic and regional development. Through its multiplier effect, tourism is vital in integrated regional development processes: increasing incomes, new jobs, developing infrastructure, development of the local economy and society, improvement of the environment, etc.
In the framework of the research, the doctoral students analyze regional and sectoral changes in the tourism of the region/country, as well as the role of tourism in development.
